Yay!  I finally figured out how to create a fan freebie on my Facebook page!  Wow, I made that harder than it had to be!  Anyways, I've uploaded a fun freebie that I know you can use in your classroom - alphabet recognition sheets!  My students like to work on these independently or in small groups.  I let the kids have fun with bingo daubers, paint pouncers, markers, highlighters, or crayons to identify the letters!  I'll leave these up for about a week, so come on over to "like" my new FB page and you will be directed to the FREE google doc!

It's cold here in New York!  Perfect time for SNOW WEEK in my classroom.  I've just uploaded this file to TpT, everything that you need to have fun with snow!  Check it out for math, literacy and craft activities, and it's on SALE!  Lots of my favorite sellers are participating in a Super Bowl sale, I need to go shopping! 

What's your favorite SNOW activity to do in your class?  My kids love it when I put real snow in our sensory table.  I fill up cups with colored water and let the students use eye droppers to squirt the colors into the snow.  No snow?  Have you checked out INSTA-SNOW!  So much fun!

Family Trees in PreK

My kids love talking about their families!  As part of our Family/Thanksgiving Unit, we worked on these sweet family trees today!

 I can't wait to hang them all up in the hall (thinking about laminating, I'm sure the parents would like to hang onto these).  I sent home a parent letter to collect the family information, and ensure that we had the correct spellings.  The face template made it easy for the students to begin drawing their family members.  This activity is available in my TpT shop, but I'll gladly give away copies to the first FIVE people who leave a comment.  Make sure you leave an email address (or better yet, follow me!) so I can contact you.  I'll be back with more Thanksgiving ideas soon!  I hope that everyone is enjoying your November!
